I hope not...we don't need another young QB thrown to the wolves...ideally, he gets his shot in three seasons, which means Jefferson and/or Lee do well enough the next two seasons.

but to answer your question, I'm sure he'll see the field. If he was blind, I doubt that handicap would have allowed him to ever played football.

Only if he wants to!! It will take some time before he is mentally ready IMO.

Oh, that's a fact? Considering how many times you've seen the kid play.

You've seen the kid in pictures from practices and a few highlights from school.

So tell us, since it's a fact, what you know about Garrett and why you think he isn't talented enough to start later on in his career. Pros? cons?

Where did you see his abilities?

TIA

consider that he ran the scout team all last season which means that he basically had to start from scratch learning the playbook in the spring (or at least getting reps from the playbook). Regardless of whatever talent he might have, that put him at a disadvantage. Expect him to continue to play catch up this season as well. Given the staff's view that Lee has improved I would imagine August practice reps will be dominated be JL and JJ to see if JL is a better option. So no, I don't see him playing this season unless we have injuries or the first two REALLY stink it up.

Its not Garrett's fault or the staff's fault. That is just how it is. They needed a scout team guy taht could give them a look. consequently he's having to re-learn most of the things that he was exposed to this time last year.

All he needs to do is have patience and ask Matt Flynn.

ever is a long time.

probably. He could be a fifth year starter depending on who else is around at that time.

EVER is a long time. One two week concussion and a three week sprained knee and suddenly, he's THE MAN.
