Actually a really nice lunch spot. 8-9 dollar entrees is a steal. My wife had shrimp and tasso pasta which was pretty good.

I did a little quick work for one and was rewarded with tons of gift certificates....I would pass on everything but the steaks.

Thanks I think she may have gotten some gift card or coupon and that's why she picked Copelands. Steak it is then.

The steaks are ok. Everything else is heavy cream sauce and fried.

I think that's because each Copeland's is not consistent with others. I really don't like going there, at all. I don't think the steaks are very good. The few I've had were gray in color, no sear and not properly cooked at two different Copeland's. I had a small plate of shrimp and grits, once. I couldn't take more than one bite. AWFUL dish. Salads are probably okay. I think the crab cakes are awful and obviously the crab has been frozen at some point or it's just not good quality, but I'm betting on frozen.

The warm crab claws are okay and the red hot potatoes are good.

Copeland's was very good when it first opened. I loved the one on St. Charles at Nashville. The blackened redfish salad was wonderful. I ate there all the time.
