Thoughts on Interleague play

Another post got me thinking about this, curious as to what others think.
I personally am getting tired of the whole interleague play thing. I think it needs to be revamped if they want to keep it, or just do away with it completely.
Divisional teams should all have the same interleague schedule at the very minimum to keep it in, otherwise I say save it for the world series only.
What say you MSB people?

I like IL play personally... Gives us somethin different to watch rather than playing a team in your division 20 times a season... Playing the same teams gets old.

I wish interleague was expanded at the expense of the billion divisional matchups.

If they are going to keep IL (which I hate, BTW), do it like football and have a balanced schedule.

I would revamp the entire scheduling process. No leagues, no divisions. You play every team in 3 game home and away series. That's 174 games. Top 4 records make the post season.

The soccer's getting to you.

I think that's actually true. I just got into the EPL this year, and the system is just so perfect. You could never get rid of playoffs in American sports, and I wouldn't want to. But the fact that everyone plays the same schedule just seems right. With the ease of travel these days, and the ability to play up to 6 games a week, there's no reason for divisons or leagues anymore.

The US's size doesn't even compare to England's, that's one of the problems.

I like it, but I don't like how some teams play 2 series against each other (Yankees/Mets, Angels/Dodgers)
I would rather one of the NL Central teams move to the AL West (so that every division would have 5 teams and each league would have 15 teams) and just have one interleague series always going on.

The NBA does it and they actually have a Eastern and Western Conference unlike baseball. They also don't play 3 game series when they get to a town.
Considering teams only have to travel at most once every 3 or 4 days it doesnt seem like a problem at all.
