Who else hates Mercury Morris?

All he wants is attention, every time there is a team that threatens to go undefeated he begins to talk shi* about them. I mean did this guy even see the field for the dolphins, i thought he was a bench warmer?

I didn't even realize he was still alive, much less doing anything as a sportscaster.
And yes, he was a good RB for the great Shula-coached Dolphin teams of the 70's......Not great, but still very good.....

You have to hope for a Saints-Colts Super Bowl, with both teams heading in 18-0, just so we can see the end of this stupid storyline every December.

Mercury Morris is the only one that really does that. His favorite line is "don't call me when you're in my neighborhood, call me when you're on my street" or something very similar to that. Dude is an a-hole. I understand having pride in being the only ones to accomplish something, but he goes beyond that and wishes ill will upon others who try.

The only thing I enjoy about the '72 Dolphins is they seem to be the only record holder with balls. Most, if not all, record holders in most sports give a "well i like my record.. but he earned it" or an "i dont really care" (which is bs) I like the Dolphins for being the only one to tell it like Im sure all record holders feel.

I believe there was a story a while back that said the 72' Dolphins' players earn an decent living by being the only undefeated team. They get speaking engagements and stuff for being the only undefeated.

I can't stand him, or Don Shula, anymore. Most people are pretty gracious when a long standing record is broken. These idiots get pissy when someone even comes close.
