Anyone who watched the game saw a number of things about Ridley...1) Ok speed..average..2) Great quickness and ability to throw his body forward on impact and "hits" the defender on contact.. ie. doesn't passively get hit... also doesn't go down with first contact 3) Unusual spin move either way with balance..4) Great hands...5) Great confidence... I've seen him play since 8 th grade in the "white boy" MPSA, and saw him improve every year. He carried, literally his team, TE, to the state championship his senior, playing both ways (at 80% with a bum ankle.) Positives include a great arm throwing the ball, hits like a M*****F*****, and has always been a winner (a lot of these 4-5 star stud's have only played for losing teams.) Negatives include lack of breakaway speed, tendency to dance (stay on his feet too long), and thus fumble. Yet his style is different this year; more downfield and low to the ground. My guess of his future ?? We need to wait and see; but I think he will surprise many and show that he has better skills than CS and KW (IMO.) Remember, he's 8 months after ACL repair. This is pretty impressive in that complete healing takes 12 months or so..

He's gonna be a bright spot next year for sure. Maybe even in the bowl game if we give him enough touches.

My team gave him the bum ankle in the semi finals! Okay I'm done.

Reminds me a little of Joe Addai. Maybe a tad slower but a little stronger with a similar skill-set. If he can stay healthy, he with Murphy, Ford and Calhoun give the team some diverse depth to draw upon once again. The Ware kid looks to be really talented as well.

Cool your shite..like i don't know trinity was wayyy better than us. I wasn't celebrating that we hurt ridley, just a fun fact. I also served up the hook and lateral that got me teammate demolished by him. I still feel bad about that..

Ridley , during that same game, had a hit on a RO junior wingback on a hook and ladder play that put him out of the game. #24 was it ???? Like I said #34 can hit. By the way, the freshman on that same team won another MPSA A championship Friday, beating an undefeated DeSoto, Ark team 37-7.

Tiger rash was a stud soph QB at RO that year and had a good career. But the dude threw 3 picks to a TE frosh, RJ Fleming that game, who aready has received two offers from D-1 schools.

I liked the leadership skills he showed when he was getting in JJ's face trying to get him to forget a bad play.

Yeah that was cool. I remember JJ getting in RS face after he f(*cked up and people said they didn't like it. Hard to figure out what gets people excited on here.

this guy was IMPRESSIVE,to say the least. it was the 1st time i'd seen him play this year and could'nt help but think where had he been all year. i think he'll be one of the top backs in the nation next year.

he reminds me of a quicker charles scott that has better balance. he's a good receiver, too. if he can block the right guy, he'll be an improvement.

I'll reserve my opinion until next year. I still haven't gotten over J. Vincent's after frosh years.

When they are the utility back it is sometimes different than when they are the 'surprise' man on occasion.

Ive said since the beginning of the year that he is the most talented back on this team. He will be a GREAT back for LSU and has all the tools to play on Sundays.

BTW to the Hitman, he has plenty of breakaway speed for a 225lb back.
