RO junior wingback

I honestly thought his head was going to roll to my feet... Hardest hit anywhere that I have seen in real life at any level. But maybe that's because I was 5 yards away from it and knew I still had to try to tackle him when they had the ball.

Please remember the kid tore his ACL in the Spring and worked his arse off to be where he is now. I am delighted to have this kid for 2 more years. He could be our much needed complete RB. He can run and has pretty good hands.

Tiger rash... Ridley's senior year we played Prep and Central hinds in a jamboree at Copiah. The sucker hit a CH RB on the far side of the field and (I'm not bulling) it sounded like a shotgun blast. I've got stories by the hundreds about him. The hit on your team mate sent him to the ER, if I remember correctly. Best hit was his sophomore year. Played Oak Forest at TE in the rain and TE lost 21-0. The whole OF team was awesome, particularly a senior free safety. OF held Ridley to around 90 yds on 25-30 carries. Late in the 4 th quarter, Ridley broke up the middle and this 190 lb safety took him (Ridley was at 195-200 or so then) on 1-1. Ridley ran over the sucker. Got tackled, but ran over the dude like a truck over a human. Dude got up after 20=25 seconds and slowly walked off the field.

Seeing him interact with the other players around practice he seems to have a great rapport with them all. I think he may have leadership skills that will contribute just as much as his playing skills. We need leadership!

The final on this game was 20-0 but it was 7-0 late into the fourth quarter. Believe it or not Stevan had 13 carries for 9 yards in that game. Oak Forest was loaded that year and Trinity had just moved up to 2A with only 14 kids.

Biggest hit I saw was the next year against 2A Copiah. They had a big linebacker all everything. First play of the game Ridley runs in from about 40 yards, the LB had an angle on him and Stevan scored and ended the guys season.
