Is the backup quarterback LSU fans favorite player?

For the past 5 years I've heard fans always calling for the starter's head and to put in the backup.
Marcus Randall and JR
JR and Matt Flynn
Matt Flynn and RP
JL and JJ
now JJ and ???
Last year was understandable.

The backup QB is always the most popular guy on any College football team, unless you have a Tebow, McCoy, or Bradford.

Not so far this year but then again the season has yet to start. After J Lee's performance last year I think fans will be giving JJ some "leeway" 
this year if he's not perfect!

I don't see why they should, Lee didn't get any. They will just start calling for RS if JJ starts playing poorly. Book it.

Does the average LSU fan even give JL a chance?
The fans turned on him last year and Jefferson's performance in the bowl game made people dislike JL even more.
Let's say JJ goes down with an injury in the Vandy game and JL comes off the bench and throws a pick. That stadium will go nuts. The negatiger roar will be deafening. JL has zero margin for error.

If we go by what Les said this past weekend the QB job is not 100% set yet. So, the starter could be any one of four QB's J Jefferson, J Lee, R SHepherd and Garrett. Not in any order except that as of now he said J Jefferson is #1.
So who would you call on? Myself, R Shepherd or Garrett.
