LINK

Last year all the articles I read about Josh Downs really impressed me about this young man's character. He was in RR's shadow and just quietly did his best to get a scholly to LSU. When I read the article about his mom being handicapped, he has been helping take care of her for years and when he got the offer from LSU he cried I was very moved and thrilled to have him on the team. Reading this article makes me so happy to see he is doing well. Hope he proves himself on the field. If anyone deserves it he does. GEAUX JOSH!

reminds me of kyle williams.

Said all he wants to do is play football for LSU.
Saban said Kyle williams was born to play football.
Those are the type players I want on our team.

Nice. He'll be a great one to have in the locker room, on the sideline, and on the field.

He'll certainly be one for the all Tiger fans to watch and enjoy! Good Luck, Mr. Downs, and of course...

My friends who play football up north in 5A ball say Downs is easily the best player they've played against. Say he isn't the biggest, but he's downright nasty, and scary as shite...to be avoided at all costs on the field. He actually has injured some of my friends.

Thanks for the link. I may cry when I see him succeed in his love for playing for LSU. I'll definitely be watching you, Josh, with new appreciation.

Josh is a great guy and a great athlete!! He works hard in the weight room and even harder on the field. I've worked out with him a few times and watched him play all through HS and I really think he has what it takes to be the next TIGER great!!!!

he may not be the player that nfl scouts are drooling over, but he will make big time plays throughout his career because it seems he just wants it more than anyone else. I really think even with his size he can be a great player for us
