Great movie. Mark Whalberg is the man. Found it weird watching Danny Glover play the role of the villian.

I find it hard to believe that as smart/savy Mark Whalberg's character is in counter-intelligence that he would not have forseen the set up.

Take time to read Stephen Hunter-the author of the Bob Lee Swagger series. I think "Point of Impact" was the first in the series. "The Shooter" was based on one of these novels. As usual, Hollywood changed a lot of the story line. The novel is so much better as is usually the case. I have read all of his novels about Swaggert and Bob Lee's Father, who was a decorated Marine in the Pacific Campaign during WWII. As with any author, some of his novels are better than others. Check your local library for Stephen Hunter.

What's up with Danny Glover's voice in this movie? Is that how he talks now? He sounds like he's on his death bed. It's aggravating.

I think he started talking like that in Predator 2.

That movie was an over marketed FLOP.

Couldn't agree more...his books are really good. Day before midnight, and dirty white boys are really good. Amazed that there haven't been more movies based on his books.

I know. I had never noticed it before. It was extremely annoying. So annoying that I wouldn't want to watch this movie again because of it.
