For Flynn, this offseason was about getting the kind of detailed instruction that he never received at LSU, where he started only one season and where coaching the finer points of quarterbacking amounted to “just drop back and throw,” he said.

“I never really got the individual work on dropbacks and stuff like that, so it’s been very beneficial to me,” Flynn said. “There’s a lot of technical stuff at this level.”

Wasn't he coached by the awesome quarterback coach known as Jimbo Fisher?

No, you're inferring way too much. He just meant the game is a lot more technical at the NFL level, whereas they keep things more basic at the college level.

They have better coaching in the NFL? Shocked.

they get 20hrs a week with coaches and most of that is on the practice field and the weight room
shocking that he would get a lot more personal instruction with an NFL team

Maybe he'll come back and coach QBs after his career is over.

JL needs coaching that LSU is unable to provide.

Ever see a a dog cringe when you raise your hand at it? That is a coached instinct.
