I am just starting to get into trying different wines. I am looking for a lighter red wine, at least I think that is what I like so far.

Try a decent Pinot Noir....You can find quite a few good bottles at Albertsons for $12-$20.....I really like the La Crema, Robert Mondavi Coastal, and the Kendall Jackson are all good and inexpensive...

I also like Foli a Dewe "Menage a Trois". You can buy it Albersons for around $10 a bottle, so it won't break your bank.

Definitely a good Pinot Noir... All of the selections above are good. Try to spend at least $10. Probably better of in the 15-20 range.

BV Coastal Estates Pinot Noir is really good too.
Also Mirassou Pinot Noir (Yellow Label with the sun on it)

pepperwood cabernet is fantastic and like $10-12 at albertson's.
i'm not a big wino, but my gf loves the stuff and i enjoy it as well.
