ESPN has LSU picked for the Peach Bowl against Boston College. That sounds like a bad match to me, but then again no bowl team sounds like a good match up at the moment. I'm trying to think of a bowl elligible team that wouldn't lite up this defense. Coming up blank.............

I only hope we're matched up with an ACC or Big 10 team this bowl season. Would have hated to see us facing Texas, Texas Tech, or Missouri in the Cotton.

I agree no match up seems to favor us at the moment. The Arkansas and bowl game will show what this team and coaching staff are made of.

I think BC will win the ACC, so they may not drop to Atlanta.

Sun Belt runner ups, maybe? Umm, what worries me is that if LSU manages to win over Arkansas (which isn't likely the way this team is playing defense), and if somehow LSU manages to rise to the occasion and beat a bowl opponent, Les Miles might be tempted to see this as confirmation of his Malveto fiasco and keep the twins of doom in place for another season, thus launching the inevitable DiNardo/Miles comparisons for real.

Coach Miles sent a clear message to his defensive coordinators when he went for that 4th and 23.

apparently their starting QB chris crane just broke his collar bone so he won't play, so w/ their backup they'll prob lose to maryland this weekend letting FSU go onto the ACC title game against VT (if they beat UVA this weekend) or GT (if UVA beats VT).

In either case their O will probably be crappy

Didn't their back up QB lead them to a last minute victory over Wake Forest last week?

I have already made my reservations in Atlanta.

I saw last night they had us matched up against FSU and CBS (I think) had us matched up against GA Tech.

I see the Boston College now, Katy.

I agree, that would be interesting. Have we ever played BC ?

I still think we go to the outback. I think they take us over carolina. This is assuming Uf beats bama and bama still gets a bcs bid.

I'm cool as long as we don't have to play Texas or Texas Tech...both of them would light us up and I really couldn't stand another arse kicking like Georgia or Florida...Peach Bowl is cool with me..

It was his little brother freshman Nathan Dick that lit up Miss. State this past weekend.

Disregard my post. I thought carolina already had five losses. they would have to lose to clemson to get us in the outback. i don't see it happening.

The Peach would avoid Boston College at all costs. BC has a terrible fanbase that doesn't travel well. They routinely get passed over in the ACC by bowls and eventually end up in an easy bowl (which explains their bowl winning streak). I would expect the Peach is salivating for the chance to invite Georgia Tech.

I would love for this to happen, but I don't see why you think this. Since the inception of the Outback sponsorship (1994 - always SEC vs. Big 10) only 1 SEC west team has been invited (Bama 1996).
