You have to be sure that the unit will tolerate the heat of a garage.

That one looks to be semi-commercial so it might.
Also gotta stick close to the cleaning schedule.

This is the problem with mine. The heat of my garage really takes a toll on how long the ice will retain it's size/integrity.

When you run the cleaning solution through it, do it twice.

The ambient heat cause more scale, IMO.

Got a yeti a couple of months ago it has been to tailgates, the dove field, and is headed offshore.

Hatters gonna hat.

for 1 day of tailgating in extreme heat adn all day of opening and closing opening and closing, a yeti provides extremely little benefit vs a top of the line coleman or igloo.

Yep. And, this is coming from the owner of 3 Yetis (Yetii?).

Loaded the Yeti on Friday morning with ice and beer.
Tailgated all day Saturday before and after game, periodically adding beer.

Emptied it out yesterday at 1PM.

Well that's one way to ruin an overpriced ice chest.

Considering that's it's been to every home game since 2009, I doubt it'll mind the abuse.

I have that same size. It is worthless. If you put enough ice to keep everything cold, you can have a 12 pack in it...if you fill it up it has like 5 lbs of ice. If it is hot when you put 5 punds in, it is melted before your beer gets below 60 degrees.

Either the great big one, or the little one have a decent use. The mid size are worthless.

I only like it for one reason, it doesn't slide around in a boat, or a truck, or a UTV. So it isn't actually worthless.
