Shark sighting in Lake Pontchartrain a warning for summer water fun

"there's this bull shark at my feet so I picked my feet up and screamed like a little girl"

"That possibility is very real and sharks are not something to be taken lightly for sure," said Jones.

First the Zika Virus and now out of control sharks on the rampage for humans in Lake P!

Did you read the article? It wasn't really trying to scare anyone.

Have coast guard or anyone training in these areas ever been bitten by a shark?

What about the seals that train on the pearl river?

I've caught a ton of them in the lake near the twin spans. I still swim in the area with zero concerns. I'm more worried about gators than sharks to be honest.

I had a gator chase after me several years ago tube fishing in Lake P. Sucker chased me 1/2 mile out into the lake.
