For whatever reason, house we bought had no window screens. Any suggestions on where to get some made?

Figure out what brand they are and then find a dealer that sells that brand.

Part of the problem. They have no markings or stickers anywhere to be found.

If you want a challenge buy the kits from Home Depot and make them youself.

I've had some made at a local ace hardware but I brought the originals in to them.

Depending where you are they may be a company that Can furnish and install them for you.

If they are the type that can be removed/opened for outside cleaning then open one, sometimes the markings are in the slides or on the side of the window.

I don't have an answer to your question....but one piece of advice is to get shade screen for windows facing the south of the west.....helps a hell of a lot during the summer.

Same issue here. Did mine last week. Used Screen Mobile franchise cost 55 per window.
They did an excellent job.
Most builders now dont put them in necause the house ahows better without.

Call local window shops and see who builds their screens for custom windows. They might give you a reference.

Up here in Huntsville, I had a tore one and on another one the frame was bent on a mobile home we lived in so I just looked the guys up in the yellow pages, only had to do the measurements myself and they built them for me.
