It is summer. You go early and you might get wet. Went out to Comfort Island today in less than good conditions. Caught a bunch of trout, but my partner and I could only keep twenty. On the way in we got drenched in Bayou La Loutre enjoyed ourselves and did not mind getting wet.

Sometimes you gotta go and not fish where you want but where Mother Nature lets you.

Its not the rain that keeps me away, it's the occasional lightning bolt that wants to turn my insides into spaghetti sauce.

I am waiting until it cools down some. At my age, it's too hot right now. Have a November trip planned.
