That is an awesome thread. Love how over here you don't have to sift through, "fricking your mom pays well" answers. Good luck on the job search!

I think it was anchored. No indication why.

Was good while it lasted. I Was hoping it would stick around as I will be moving back to La and looking for a job in a year.

There was a thread on the help board asking as to the reason but they erased it without giving an answer.

I would assume because all threads dealing with buying and selling/ trading of services are deleted or anchored. This board gets less admin over site so it stayed around longer . I'm surprised it lasted 24 hours

Its kind of like back in the day when you got to fingerblast your neighbors granddaughter because she was visiting for the summer. Its great while it lasts but you know it has to come to an end at some point.

Just keep creating new job opening threads as they get anchored. Rage against the TD machine

If I don't pick up something by the time this contract starts winding down I will definitely be starting another.

Not as obvious thread titles would help...

Eta: You were asking what I do...

I do mapping on projects we consult. It takes a few days to build and import data. Then as the project goes along there are constant updates. Leases, spotting proposed locations, production, etc.

I lease, permit and do curative title work as well, but I really enjoy mapping. I work in the same office everyday, but explore new areas all the time digitally.

I know I'm late to the party here, but we are looking for a maintenance supervisor in Port Allen. The upside is it's a family run business, so there isn't a lot of red tape and if you're worth a damn, you can work here a long time. Downside is you have to manage people that aren't the highest of intellect at times. But you could eventually be in charge of hiring your own people. The more you know how to do, the higher the salary, but I don't know exactly what the range is. deaconjonesob@gmail.com

Because these guys aren't here to actually help us with useful content. They only want stuff they can control.
If they cared about their members, they would have useful boards for discussions like that.
