Maybe not. If one has a Mossberg with an amberdextrous safety on top, one has to release the pistol grip to funtion the safety. I can funtion my safety without releasing my grip on the weapon. Keeps both hands on the weapon at all times. My preference, I suppose.
Received a Mossberg 590A1,8+1, with ghost sights for Christmas from my daughters. Sighted in at 35 yds for rifled slugs. Three round group within 2 1/2 inches. Still working on it. By the way, that is on a bench rest. Have a Specter Gear 2-pt tact sling with quick release and ERB to help steady my aim. After 30 rds, shoulder said WTF? So I replaced the stock recoil pad with a Limbsaver pad. What a difference! Loaded with buckshot (1/0 or 2/0) in the house (always be aware of where your family is). Closest neighbor is about 60 yds, other three over 100 yds. Love my neighbors, don't want to accidently harm them. Keep this in mind if you purchase a HD shotgun. You are liable!!!
