The only logical explanation is they were first at the launch and left in the dark without a good sense of where they were in the parking lot.

somebody parked like that and blocked our boat in our shed in Delacriox one time.
My dad unhooked the trailer and dragged it to one side the parking lot and hooked up a chain to the truck and dragged it to the other side. I was waiting for chaos to ensue but the ole baw just hitched his trailer back up and left.

Wow.
And I get a tad upset when Someone parks directly in front of the launch.
Far enough away where you can still launch your boat, but too close to be able to pull up and back straight in.

On a similar subject, any of you saw the shite show at Bridgeside Marina last Saturday afternoon about 4? Some dude in about a 35' center console, with 3 250hp outboards was having fun trying to get that bad boy up on his trailer. When he gunned the engines, he damn near created a tsunami in that small area. All of us waiting to pick up had fun trying to control our boats in that crap. He blocked one of those ramps for a good 20 minutes.
