Spinning could never get the hang of a baitcaster and the "bird nests" wasted to much fishing time..

Baitcasting, because when I was about 7 my dad tied a nut to an old ambassador and told me to go practice in the yard. I'll fish a spinning reel for long casting yet I'm much more comfortable on a bait cast because its what I learned on.

I see your dad loved you so much, he taught you how to cast like a man, and not resort to spinning reels.

That may be true for redneck fishing, but both are needed offshore.

You sure haven't noticed much in this thread. Maybe it's time to get your head out of Alxs arse and pay attention boy.

I helped a friend that had a minnow farm in Houma. It was awesome and we sold everything we could raise. Even had an albino stock that people would pay extra for. My buddy is a Doctor, so he started making money hand over fist doing that so he gave up on the farm.

we actually tear up the trout on larsh near the islands south of Pelto. But reds will eat 'em too. Just a great all around bait. I still prefer artificial.

Hmmm, mebbe i should start a spinoff thread, "Live vs. Artificial".
