Cane pole, noodling or a string tied to his toe would be his answer.

Name calling is severely underrated.

Is that your maturity checklist?

You've been dismissive and insulting without the name calling. Not that it bothers me, because it's a message board and I doubt I'll ever meet any of you. But don't try to act innocent.

Baitcasting, because when I was about 7 my dad tied a nut to an old ambassador and told me to go practice in the yard. I'll fish a spinning reel for long casting yet I'm much more comfortable on a bait cast because its what I learned on.

I was born and raised with a baitcaster. Spinning is still relatively new to me, so my accuracy isn't what I'd like it to be.

i f-ing hate carolina rigging. Boring AF

I carolina rig plastics often and find it to be just as fun as jigging.

Talking about saltwater though.

One of y'all should write to all the reel manufacturers and get them to change the name and/or classification of "spinning" reels to an "open spool" reel and "bait casters" can continue to be called "open faced" reels.

I've heard spinning called both when I was younger... and it was usually cleared up with "you know the one with the metal bar you flip up" "the one that sits on top/ underneath the rod" don't hang around many people that fish with spinning now but I'd imagine I could we could come to an understanding in less than a page worth of dialog.

i only carolina rig for larsh in saltwater. works great, but use baitcaster.

i don't care for it, but the bro-in-law laughs at me when i throw plastic in Cocodrie. Dey don't eat dat, says he. Typically he is correct.
