Made a run through Lake Arthur this weekend. Looks like a lot of late second crop rice. Looks like some farmers may not be cutting 2nd til Dec.

Public and private land in SE La marshes, Whiteville/Bunkie rice, Klondike/Lake Arthur marshes. Hopefully a wild card thrown in there as well

Still got nothing. Would love for a friend or local person to split a blind with me somewhere. I'd rather not do all guided hunts again this year.

You are going to have to hook up with some team D guys so we can have some good points.

34 I just booked a late season goose hunt with TAW. I saw a pic or 2 you posted here of some hunts. Any advice? I can't wait, and our hunt isn't till Feb.

Stay home. I'm gonna kill everything in that state when I go with them in Jan.

But on a more serious note just bring some shells. Those boys put you on some birds. They have access to almost 50k acres and there is very little pressure on the birds. You will have a blast. Be sure to share the pics when you go.

Never see you shoot wick but I have (unfortunately) hunted with the "not so" great 318 and he will let enough pass through that a few make it south.
