We killed ducks that wasn't a problem not running out of shells after two days was an issue. Water was pretty tricky, we used condensation off water for a little bit but it was tough.

So do you now have a case of water and case of Vienna sausages or chef boyardi on the boat?
Growing up fishing with my buddies in the marsh alone we always had that on the boat as an emergency.
Had to bring new ones down every start of duck season.

I have a case of MRE's in the boat, and two gallons of water plus an extensive list of survival gear in my boat at all times now. As I said I learned a lot at a young age from that experience, it has saved me a bunch.....
