It varies by company. I've worked in some that you can check them into the guard shack. Some allow it in a parking lot that is outside the gates. Some no where on company property no matter what.

I would be screwed. I have enough shells in my doors to make a duck or spec hunt. I would never drive my truck over the mexican border.

Forgot about that, always keep rain gear. Plus a very light sleeping bag in a small backpack, with water bottle and a few powerbars.
My truck is new so I haven't had time to accumulate crap in it yet.

Exactly. I like to be prepared.

Being as I was told nothing in a truck tool box was covered, then just the Colt in the cab. The rest is losable to a point.
ETA, if it was broken into during the night I would be pissed about the Ray-Bans.

Nothing really. My stereo is only worth about $75 and that's about it.
Posted on 5/19/13 at 6:35 pm to CptRusty
Nothing much. I have such a short drive to work everyday that I don't keep a gun in the truck regularly

I keep most of my tools in my truck toolbox because I always need them at one of the camps or my parents house. I'm sure it's s couple grand. Plus s gun and iPod.
