The ones on Caddo must have teeth like that. I went through 3 packs of worms this weekend.

What area of Florida? I don't have much of an idea, but could be a lot of things with all the invasive species they have over there.

South Florida

I have no clue, looks like a damn piranha or some shite. Don't think it's a snakehead.

Ok, so I don't think it is a snakehead, but possibly a bowfin? I've never actually caught a bowfin before, but y'all have them in LA. Look like one to any of you?

I wouldn't think so. It has a pretty "advanced" mouth structure compared to a bowfin.

That's not a grinnell.

Probably got dumped out of an aquarium. I'm guessing a piranha or something along those lines.

Not a piranha or a pacu.

Eta: it almost has to be a snakehead or bowfin. What else could it possibly be?

Not a pirahna. Pirahna have trangular teeth like sharks.

If you have ever caught a Mudfish, you've caught a Bowfin.

I'm almost tempted to say it's some sort of cichlid, assuming the large open part at the top is the eye orbital. Maybe a wolf cichlid (Paracrhomis dovii), but those teeth are gnarly...so I don't know. Definitely not a bowfin or a characin (piranha type fish) due to mouth structure.

Perhaps send it to your state wildlife and fisheries agency.

The mouth doesn't look big enough to be a snakehead.
