BMC is what I was thinking. It is at a rescue that we have adopted a couple good dogs from and a lot of what they get, unfortunately, have been abused. The lady at the rescue says she's very sweet. I'm thinking about adopting her, the only problem is, they think she may be pregnant and I don't want a bunch of puppies.
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy thinking she was at least part BMC.
ETA: the cuts/gouges on her neck supposedly came from a wild hog.

Looks kinda like the one my little girl adopted the week she graduated from college. They said mixed breed with a little bit of yellow lab at toe SPCA. I think a lot of mixed breeds end up as mid sized brown dogs that resemble the cur, but without the black mouth.

If anything, I would say he's mountain cur before BMC IMHO. If BMC, the roof of his mouth will be black not necessarily his muzzle.

I didn't know this. We got this boy from a friends shelter about a month ago and I've been wondering if it had some in him. I'm sure he isn't near pure but the roof is black. Bad pic but you get the idea.

That dog looks more like a BMC. I like that block head on him too man. Good lookin dog regardless of what is in him. Looks like there is some Howard in there somewhere, perhaps not too far back either.
