I love the heck out of this lure. I kinda wish they made a 4 inch version though. This bait has saved me from scratching many times. Tough, great action, and the slender profile is perfect for working it in and around grass. Same could be said for the speed worm. Something about the way the tail in a speed worm and pincers on the speed craw are shaped, when it moves through the water it drives the fish crazy.

has to be a zoom baby brush hog - watermelon blue or a zoom speedcraw watermelon orange.

Any of yall ever target reds with worms? A recent redfish had a bunch of baby eels in his belly and it got me thinking.

3/8oz black and chartreuse rattling jig with a large blue Zoom chunk. Jig brand really doesn't matter, it must have a good hook.

I'm really trying to get better at flipping jigs.
Can someone explain the difference between swim jigs, finesse, football, etc.?
Can I bounce swim jigs?

Lake fork craw tube, 1 oz tungsten weight, and a hydrilla mat everybody else thinks is too thick to fish.
Yeah, my trolling motor hates me.

Mine is a Texas rigged trick worm, lizard or baby brush hog. Colors are;
Watermelon
Watermelon red
Watermelon blue flake
June bug red
Green pumpkin
Tequila sunrise
Red shad
Motor oil
I will catch fish on those baits no mater the conditions.
I also throw a Zara spook sexy shad if it's overcast or early evening and morning. I caught a 5.5 lbr at 11:30 Saturday on a Zara spook.

I was thinking the same thing. Threw a Senko wacky today. Things were slow and the trout haven't shown up yet. We caught one 13 lb red on a 7M topwater plus several undersize reds and one keeper. (all on a 7M in SHALLOW) No luck on the wacky worm in salt water today but I've got some other places I want to try. I'm sure sold on wacky for bass fishing.

I try to fish them often, but don't usually do too well with them. I do much better with creature baits than jigs... but I'll see what I can clear up. The differences are pretty much where the eyelet is positioned on the jig head and the head shape itself. You can add whatever trailers you want on them.
Swim jigs are kind of like a spinnerbait without a the wire, and supposed to imitate a shad.
As far as I'm concerned finesse jigs and football jigs are pretty much the same (only difference I'm aware of is skirt design). Football jigs are shaped as such, where the weight sits on the bottom and the bait it angled up off the bottom.
Flipping jigs are pretty standard in jig head shape
Bouncing swim jigs is possible depending how good you are.
ETA - fixed bad info
