I am watching WFN and this cat is in a 3rd world country,

in the shittiest dugout canoe, in rapid water,

with medium sized spinning gear,

and he just ran a spook style bait a few feet and caught a peacock that size.

I had a 3 lb largemouth blow up a buzzbait last year in D'Arbonne and I damn near had a heart attack. If one of those ever hit it, I would pass out before I could real that bad boy in!

I've been lucky enough to do the Peacock Bass thing on the Amazon. Cool experience, but couldnt get them to hit topwater.

My fish would be a Roosterfish. Going fishing in Costa Rica next week, and want to go out for Roosterfish while my buddies go golfing on our off day. Trouble is, they want 1200 bones just to go out to the surf to catch roosterfish. Thats the same price as an all day marlin trip. Too rich for my blood considering you can damn near cast to them from the shore. Maybe I can bum around the docks and find someone to take me for (a lot) less.

Tarpon anywhere with anything.
Peacock bass with a top water bait.
Trout while wading in water knee deep with a fly rod. Sleeping in my van down by the river!
