Nice. We had over 200 on a trip last year, on top of limits of snapper and kings .. I have never been so tired of cleaning fish in all my life

Didn't you say you drive a silver F250? Pretty sure I saw you leaving while I was paddling back to the launch. Silver F250 with 2 yaks in the back. Caught a few very small bream and one 12 inch bass. Water in the basin was ugly.

That was us, we got there about 4 and were leaving around 7ish. We actually paddled to Pelba and started heading north when he fell in right by that "Pipeline Cross, NO Anchor/Dredge" sign just north of the bridge. Somewhere near that sign is a couple pretty nice rod/reels. We fished a little further north for a bit but boat traffic/nasty water yielded nothing. Went a little further west but the water was nasty everywhere.

I was just referring to you diving down into the Gulf of Messico and shooting a bunch of bigass fish with a spear. That's bad arse imho

You had a hell of a weekend.

I puked a bunch but some fellow OB'ers did well on the other side of the boat.

I actually crossed over to the Bigeaux side via a small canal (one of the many). Caught most of my fish on that side. There was a small cove that I fished in where I caught most of them. Water was a little better, Pelba was just too nasty.

If I ever run into you out there, I'll share my honey hole with you. But I ain't posting it here!

I slipped on a rock and threw my back out.

I also found out my tent has a leak.

Little head caught a mess of bream and made some friends so I guess it turned out fine.

We fished Saturday over there. Caught a few small bream and one small sac-a-lait. Only one keeper. Started around Lake Pelba, then headed down Bigeaux.

Got checked by game wardens right by I-10.

I don't know crap about that place and really have only fished there maybe 5-10 times in my life, never once having a highly sucessful trip. After he fell in he lost a little bit of his willingness to be out there so we just packed it up and headed in after trying a few different spots on the north side.

I'm needing this in a bad way, it's been years. I wonder what availability is for spots at the State Park, I need to look.

The first time I flipped I lost a rod and reel. Luckily the rest were tied down. It was a little demoralizing. About an hour later I started pulling them in one after another. I quickly forgot about flipping.
