10 yellowfin tuna (would have swept Swollfest had we fished it), 12 grouper, 25 almaco, and of course the elusive red snapper. pics and videos of the yellowfin fights to come when my Big Hoss uploads

I figured out why I couldn't keep the bow down. When I put the boat on the lift I noticed that the starboard trim tab was broken

I didn't think you were getting much response on the tabs. well that sucks. If you need help working on it, lemme know.

I think it will be an easy fix but didn't have time to mess with it because I had to get back to BR. I got some pictures from MM's trip yesterday. Looks like they got their limits of red snapper, some mangroves, a cobia and some more of those african pompano

I met Toonces, and he helped out with cleaning our fish... (and secretly sneaked some cleaned fish in our box! how nice can you be?)

The Colorado boys were fun, and had fun. It was a good group and good day.

I was just looking at the pic again, and it looks like it was 3.5 pompano's.

But you didn't because you and crew were scared. Besides the fact you had to be back in by 6:30 on Sat. not Sunday. You're like the guys that go and catch a couple 27" redfish on stink crickets on day and say "shoot I ought to fish the redfish circuit, I'd win every one". But you don't put your money up because deep down, you know you don't have what if takes to win.

Yes because if I would have fished Biloxi billfish classic I'd be 80k richer.

Oh no, I catch big fish. 2 of rednecks combined wouldn't have won in Biloxi. Got to go east for the big fish baw.

Yea, I guess I probably fished there yesterday...

Might have to keep a snapper rod handy and get some number, in case we run across another incredibly calm day. Was like glass on Friday.
