bass fishing Saturday - LSU Saturday night - Saints this morning - ribs, sausage on the pit w/ white cans today...

Went to Henderson Friday afternoon. Caught 3 bass. 4 if you count the 5 inch fish I caught 
Chased a frog bite most of the afternoon with lots of slaps at the frog, but didn't catch any on it. Got this funny screen shot from when I tried to set the hook on a fish, but instead hit the GoPro with the frog
ETA: rest of the weekend was spent doing family obligations

Passed on a doe on opening morning, thinking I’d have plenty of opportunities at another....never got another shot all weekend.

Deer hunted for 7 1/2 hours over 65 lbs of corn and 50 lbs of rice bran 6 am - 10 am nothing.

Great on teal Friday and Saturday and put the kids in some redfish and fresh water cats after teal Saturday. Fun time.

Gonna do a euro. Not sure how that'll come out. Right now I'm driving to woodville trying to find somewhere open with ice
Really don't know what to do about the velvet. Normally for a euro I just go by my friends house and hang the deer in a tree and he will find it even he gets home and takes care of it. This buck was a day away from shedding his so it's tathered. Kinda like that look better than full velvet. Not sure how to preserve it

Fished a tourney on Rayburn Saturday and didn't do too good, only has a little over 11 pounds. Caught a bunch of fish, just no size. It was fun, though!
Sunday morning fished for 2 hours right by the camp at Toledo and caught about 25, it was awesome. They were piled up right on top of a point and caught them for over an hour. Probably lost 10 more, too.

Planted two food plots, and burned the transmission out of my Chevy pickup while pulling my tractor. Took frustration out on this boar hog after the planting was done.

Went deer hunting for the first time this weekend (I'm 31). Had a small doe come in to 30 yards, and I let her walk. It was a tough call to make, but I'd rather shoot something a little bigger and let the young ones live a little longer.
