Mom to the hospital...she's fine...Dr's changed her blood pressure medicine...you know what happened...
Clean neighbors culverts out in the downpour so yards would drain properly...
Tried to stay somewhat dry...didn't happen...
Henderson fishing today just to run the boat...
only two but several bites - just didn't want to take it...

Who needs help with their place?...

Errands, then painted "No Parking" signage on the curb in front of the shop.
They tend to creep in a the driveway when it's not bright.

Went fishing south of Centerville. Never been before. Buddy from work was with me and knew his way around. We caught 2. From what we heard from everyone else we talked to, we weren't the only ones struggling.

Not big, but she was pretty.

When the fish are biting short, try a small bait like a grub the same color or let them swim off with for about 15-30 seconds.
Had that happen for a tournament at Toledo once.

Caught about a dozen white perch at Indian Creek with SCwTiger. Maybe he will chime in with the real figure. I may be a hair jig convert now. Blue and silver with what looked like some green foil was liked a lot.

Built this rack for the yaks as well.

Saturday - Competition squirrel hunt

Sunday - AlxTiger Crappie University. Got schooled by the master again, but he let me have all the fish. 11 total - I got to pull in a few, but I'm catching on to his secrets.

That may have worked...
I was hitting em hard as soon as I saw the line move...
pitching up on the bank (once I found it) and was swimming a Big Texan Pit Boss back...looked like a cross between a craw and a bream...
my thought was they were just picking it up to move it then drop it so that is why I was hitting em quick...

The cork master was at it again yesterday. I still have not gotten a single bite doing that.

Fished Toledo Saturday and Sunday. 1215 area both days. Water varied from crystal clear to chocolate milk. Our fish came in the flooded hardwoods.

Day 1 - Best 5 weighed 18 lbs. Most of our fish came on a chatterbait. Caught a couple, including a 6 lber, on a senko.

Day 2 - Best 5 weighed 12 lbs. All fish came on a senko, they wouldn't touch a chatterbait. All of our fish were twins, couldn't find a kicker.

Two day total of 30 lbs. Got 4th in the tournament. 1st and 2nd had 35 lbs.

Thanks for the advice. I had the same problem as farad, only caught about half the fish that bit. I let them take it for about 5 seconds, but that didn't help much.
