Childhood friend of 16 years- very rare childhood cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Stage 3 in lungs Bones and liver. Had to move him out of his apt back home and been transporting him to chemo. Will find out tomorrow after scan whether chemo is working or not.
They give him 15% chance- but chemo responds 85% effectively to this type of cancer so there is a little hope. It's been rough.

She Also appears to pull her taser first. When she finally shoots, the dude was already shot the frick up by her partner and it was over.

They had him caught off guard and in an area away from the customers. They should have at the very minimum conducted a terry pat frisk and obtained ID before exiting the bathroom. Preferably they should have gained physical control of him and cuffed him on the spot.
Agree. They had PC at that point to arrest. The walk outside gave the bad guy time to recover and make a plan. Also, the sergeant should not have walked in front of him*.
*Understand, I'm not nit-picking for nit-picking's sake or trying to sound like a keyboard commando. I've gone over my OIS's countless times in my head, "I messed that up...wish I would have positioned my car there instead of where I did...I missed those cues...I was slow there...etc" Overall, the sergeant's fast reaction and ability to put steel on target was impressive.

I sorta wonder what if anything will happen to her since she pumped a number of rounds into the guy after he was on the ground.
ETA - At least she was backing away doing nothing allowing her partner to shoot uninterrupted.

From a purely tactical standpoint in the small bathroom, it may have been more difficult. When trying to cuff someone and they struggle, which most do, I would rather not be in tight quarters.
