Boy did I make a huge mistake this past season. I knew there was a a small amount of corn still in there at the end of the season but I assumed it would throw it out and empty itself,,well I was wrong! What I found today was one of the most rancid things I have ever smelled. It was a black/blue corn mush with huge maggots mixed in. Plus the rotten liquid dripped all down the motor unit! Any one else have this laps in judgement before?

Is it worse than leaving shrimp in an Igloo for a week or so in July?

No pics were taken,, it smelled to bad to stay close to. Plus I got it on my hands and didn't want to risk getting it on my phone.

Exact same thing happened to me last weekend. It was terrible. Worst thing I've ever smelled and I'm an ER nurse. Never will I do that again.

Rotten corn smell is not even close to rotten soybean smell.

Put steaming hot crawfish fresh out the pot into an igloo. Close said igloo and put into walk in cooler. Worst thing I have ever smelled. And I have smelt some shitty shite.

Take out the motor, then go put that thing over a pond and wait for the maggots to fall out for a couple days. Then come back and fish under the feeder. Budda-bing, budda-boom, fish fry.

My feeders (4) empty themselves. I've never had such a problem.

The battery usually wears out towards the end of the season. I unhook it so the clamps don't corrode. That's when you lean it over, pop the top and dumb the corn left inside.

You still gotta watch for wasps the next fall...
