Cool video. Back in the 80's those fish wouldn't have stood a chance. A spotter plane would've found them and every single one of them would've been surrounded by purse seines in no time. How anyone thought that was a sustainable practice is beyond me...

Yep. Saw them like that once out of Tiger Pass. It was the mid '80s and yes, a spotter plane flew over, and shorty thereafter, a purse seine boat showed up.
