I saw that baw coming back up the jump Saturday. To say I was shocked is an understatement when I saw that jet ski hauling that brute back to Venice marina lmao.

Before I start showing this to all my hunting buddies can this be confirmed? No way that deer came from Venice huh? What’s the wraptape around the antler?

Marsh deer can get pretty big in areas of low hunting pressure. I smoked a 16” inside 10 pt weighing 185 lbs from the marsh bordering lake Salvador

Thats crazy big and not what I would picture a buck from Venice looking like I’d like to hear the story on this one I bet that guy had seen that deer on his way in or out and marked it. I bet finding a tree to climb was pretty tough too.

Believe that is a tag of some sort. There is a third pic that shows the field where it was killed. Must have been private land from how nice the plot looked.

There have been several of that caliber killed down there but most locals had enough sense to not let it crash the internet

looks like he wrapped the tag around the antler and then used a bread tie to secure it to the antler
