Check out Daiwa , they make the best siping reel for the money, from $1000 down to $29. The amount of bearing and the different type of bearing matter as the reel will be smoother and last longer. Drag is the most important in a ultralight if you plan on catching big fish with it. If your brim fishing then you don't need to spend a lot.

I use the ultra light and shimano 4000 for bream, crappie and mainly wading small creeks for bass.

I would definitely say that's overkill. I only use a 2500 or 3000 for specs and reds. And I've caught some really nice reds on them.
A 2000 is even a lot for an ultralight. I think most people use the 500 or 1000 series.
You should strap some powerpro on that thing and put it on a Medium Action.

I have 20lb power pro on it now, it will move Heaven and Earth to pull a fish out of a brush pile. Most of the creeks I fish are maybe 20' at the widest, so the ultralight helps with casting heavy lures short distances and puts them exactly where I aim it. If I put a smaller reel on, after a few 2.5 lb creek bass get ahold of it, the gears are shot to hell.

Dude, this is an ultra light thread.

I was merely using anecdotes to state the awesomeness of the Falcon HD ultralight 6' rod.

I like shimano saharas with bass pro graphite series rods. Won't break the bank but work great.
