I'm in the market for a 2011 to 2013 Tacoma. Have looked everywhere but mostly junked out. Is there any place to find privately owned ones for sell

Much better deals out of state from what I saw. Got super lucky a few years ago and got an 11 used from a dealer.

The new ones are nowhere near as good as the older ones. I had a 16 for a year. The new motor and trans don't belong in a truck.

Good luck if you’re looking in the BR area. They are very popular with the boys around here so hard to find. Expand your search in to New Orleans. I found a clean one for my son last month at a really fair price.

Lakeside Toyota in Metairie always has some used Tacomas. I see them when I'm waiting at the red light on Causeway and W. Esplanade. They always park them in the used car lot right on the corner.

The 4.0 is still in the 4Runner I believe. Great engine.

Some dude on my FB page is trying to sell a 12 for 17k. 158k miles. Seems high to me but I don't like Tacomas.

There aren't many things in life as overrated as a Toyota Tacona, but good luck in your quest.

We had a bunch of them in Afghanistan. With nothing but regular maintenance the one I turned in on my last deployment had 224k on the odometer and is probably still going strong.

BS. Give me a 2015 or older Tacoma over anything Ford or Dodge has ever offered. The new ones are uncomfortable and I have no experience with them.
