I spend every minute for the next year and a half to reach 10,000 hours in the La woods. Not only will this put me in the upper percentages but it will qualify me as an expert

Saw a cougar/panther/puma whatever you want to call it two years ago deep in the wood at my friends hunting camp in Ft. Adams. It was a grayish color with a long 4' or so dark grey tail. It was laying in the road when I drove up to it. I stopped and it sat up looked back at us and then walked off.
I personally dont have any pics but the guy that owns the camp next to us later told us he has him/her on a trail cam pic.

I'm sorry

I'm sure you have spent more time in the LA woods than me. Feel better now? Feel like more of a master outdoorsman now?

These threads prove that 99% of what is said in on the OB is complete and utter B.S.

Either outright lies/fabrications or delusions.

Squatch. They have been mimicking black panthers for years.

Wait is he serious? I'm pretty sure he's just trolling the board 99% of the time.

A pissed coon can make some crazy sounds.

Amen to that! About 3 summers ago, one swallowed a baited 1/0 worm hook that I was using to catch snappers out of the grandkids' pond here. I had wrapped the hook with bacon and that old coon literally swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. He broke the hook and got away, but I've never heard such a racket before. Yeah, he was ticked off big time. And yes, we've got mountain lions here, too, but no black panthers...yet. I do have a few pics of my ex-mother in law from years and years ago, though. That's proof enough for me that aliens do exist...

Big cat cougars huh. I've not seen one but I hear they frequent the Cadillac Cafe.
