Worst deer season I can remember. To damn hot. Deer aren't moving worth anything. They don't have to mode dieting the day. Not cold enough. Still not moving. No rut. To hot for that if they chase they'll die of a heat stroke. What the hell. Ready for it to be over so I can go catch wahoo.

I would agree but I shot a great buck this year but overall deer movement has sucked.

Try running dogs in a high fence. That may help

It ain't helping the fishing south of Houma either.

My freezer is filled. I have enough venison to supply most of my red meat for the next year, so it's been a good year. No bucks though. I've passed several small ones, but nothing worth (literally pay the fine) shooting.

I prefer running them in people's backyards and pastures.

We are seeing more deer than we have in the last 3 seasons in Concordia.

The weather has sucked, but we've had a really good year. We've killed 8 deer off 80 acres and still seeing deer almost every hunt. Not to mention we've hit 3 others that were not recovered.

Then change up what you're doing

Abandon the boxes and get in the bottoms. Do something different.

You have 4 months to get it done. Instead of whining, make it happen

Weather was pitiful but my 3 boys each scored a nice buck, a 9 and 2 8s. They added 2 does to that and venison galore.
