I read the whole green jeans/wop head story a few months ago - very entertaining stuff.
Based on that and your OP I would just eat the fine and go on about it. This sounds like a mentally unstable A hole that will continue to harass you. May want to install some trail cams though so you can catch him snooping around on your land and doing whatever it is he does.

I read that. Couldn't you set them a bit more inconspicuously than you would if you were just targeting deer?
Maybe bring a ladder and put them up in the trees and angled down a bit?
Or even better - set up one like you normally would. Out in the open, just getting shots of a deer plot. Then set one up in the trees that looks at the deer plot cam. That way you can catch him on camera going through your cam. Finally get this pos in the unemployment line.

Got checked sat. Hunting buddy left his wallet in his jeep. And also hasn't received his fed. Stamp he purchased last month. I told the gj to write his arse up, I'll testify agin him,lol. He called dispatch to verify his license, and dispatch wouldn't return his call, lol. He new me and just let it go. Nice guy, sorry you are dealing with a pos.

Yes it was dark. I was in my golf cart with the head lights on.
I just called the Copia county clerk of court and they quoted me $145. GJ told me if I did not fight it, it would run around $25. If I did fight it, it could be as high at $150 for court costs. I have until Dec 30 so I am going to wait a week so the judge can actually rule on this case before I pay anything.

I'm stubborn and when I believe I am in the right, I will fight it. I've done that before and will do it again. I don't know Louisiana law on this situation, but as I said, "That dog won't hunt up here.". I'm too stubborn for my own good, I guess. I would spend money on a lawyer and if he says I'm in the right, I'd fight it in court just as sure as God made little green apples, even if it did cost me more money.

Do not know. I have to wait around four days so it can be filed. I just called and asked the receptionists what the fine is for no orange. She told me 145.00, I told her I would call back later.
