My wife insisted on a m&p compact for her cc,but in all honesty I think she will find it to heavy. I have a feeling she will end up claiming my LCP which is fine w/ me as long as she has one of them w/ her.

While on the subject,how are y'all's wives carrying? On body or off? I'm really trying to get mine to IWB my LCP but not having much results

That should work fine for you. Learn to carry the M&P compact in your waistband and let her take the LCP. With all the slim, form-fitting clothes women wear, an LCP IWB wouldn't be bad at all.
Or you could always suggest she carries in her purse. Just be sure she doesn't leave her purse unattended and stuff.
