That is a great photo.

I was messing around with my boat and that little guy was just sitting there watching me. Staring at me hypnotically. He told me to grab my macro lens.

He's trying to tell you he wants a Toad Abode for Christmas.

Amphiuma waiting for a toad to mess up by getting into the water. Not sure if it ever got this toad, but I did witness the amphiuma flush a couple toads up the bank. Pretty neat. And it appeared to move down to the area where this toad and two others were calling to sit and wait.
Sorry for the shitty iPhone pictures, as always.

You should set up a go pro or something and catch that in slo-mo.

Saved this guy from a busy street this past weekend. Sorry for the awful picture, but he really had some magnificent coloring; red scales on his legs and a yellow spotted head.
He also pissed and shite all over me in the car, but I released him behind my house in the woods not far from a creek.
Eastern box turtle?

How many toes on the back feets?

No idea, honestly. My best guess would be 4 or 5.

Teague I would like to ask you some questions about your Indigo if possible. Could I email you?

Went for a walk this morning.
Something Buzzing Under a Rock
This guy was the highlight of the morning, and what I was actually looking for.
Crotalus horridus
Not a herp, but I do like arachnids.
Vaejovis carolinianus
I saw a few million fence lizards, almost as many northern slimy salamanders and a couple skinks. Not a lot of good photos of them though.
Sceloporus undulatus
Found a couple of these guys.
Terrapene carolina carolina
And, a common snake around here, but still one of my favorites.
Lampropeltis getula nigra

You must be in a pretty damn nice place. That's a good week for most folks.
