Sweetwater vs Tito's Tournament Drama

It looks like Jack lost a little money on moving this tournament to Hopedale Marina. While I'm sure it hurts, he went full retard on Facebook, calling out the tournament director. There's two sides to every story, but it certainly appears that one side acted very childish. I would except such behavior from Serigne's, not Sweetwater

Between this, the MS Billfish, and yellow mouth fever, I've learned tournament fishing is one big drama fest. I just got on FB a cpl years ago and between the 3 things I mentioned, the red snapper fight, the la private marsh deal, and the constant bickering in Leeville... I never knew fishing was like this.

I don't know anything about this but it sounds kinda goofy to hold a tournament with a tropical storm coming?

Well it's passed us by and weather is ideal for sight fishing reds. Trying to reschedule tourneys is a pita for everyone. Especially in the middle of summer. And I've fished several out if sweet water and it sucks.

I came here thinking this had something to do with beer and vodka.

Capt Jack just being honest with the guy, I have fished sweetwater many times and have talked with him many times. Who the hell would want to fish in that weather anyway.

I'd sell my boat and quit fishing before I ever spend a dime in Delacroix at serignes.

Bright blue skies and tide falling from 9am till 10pm. You could have easily drove down hwy 1 today and out 13lbs on board.

GoPro cancelled the Galveston Cup tournament a few days ago, appears it was too soon as well, most speculated it was just a way for them to get out of the guaranteed 1st place prize of 20k given the lack of entries they had due to closing La waters to anglers.

I'm not saying this isn't true, but 20k isn't exactly a huge chunk of cash for a billion dollar company...

You could go out and easily spank the redfish's arse on a day like today.

Not trying to flame, but what is the hatred for Serigne's?
Have never fished out of Delacroix and curious about the bad history.

Looong story/history, shrimp nazi, etc. overall just a history of not treating their customers too great, something sweetwater came in and capitalized on
