re: Commute times. - magicman534
For me it's 45 miles each way. Usually 45 min to get to work for 6 am. If I leave after 3pm though, the traffic on the high rise on I 10 in New Orleans east drives me insane. ...

re: Trying my own European mount - Advice - magicman534
I'd take it out and boil it. But that's mostly because I'm impatient. If the insides are mostly gone it shouldn't take too long though. For me, getting the eyes out is always the hardest part. Post some pics when your done....

re: Do yall baws hit yalls kids? - magicman534
Don't need to. If I raise my voice and yell they both start crying. If that didn't work I would definitely spank though....

re: Swimmers of the OT. How much yardage you putting in a week? - magicman534
LOL I hear ya. I would be totally gassed if I tried to keep up with them. When I first told him I was gonna swim in the other pool while he was swimming he said "dad there are actually plenty of elderly people that swim in the other pool while we practice." I was like what the hell man, I'm 34! ...

re: Swimmers of the OT. How much yardage you putting in a week? - magicman534
I just started swimming bc Crossfit and a spartan race hurt my leg and foot. I do about 1600 meters of mostly freestyle with some breast and back mixed in. I usually aim to complete that in 40-50 min so it's a medium steady pace for me with no breaks longer than 30 seconds. Again, I just started swi...

re: Should I shop a boat at several dealers? - magicman534
I bought one last year from a dealer in fla bc I thought I was saving 2k. Well, the person who ordered it didn't do it correctly and I only saved 500$ which was still ok for a 2 hour ride to me. Anyway, it's under warranty now and I had to bring it back to fla bc the scumbag dealers close to home wo...

re: 70+ mile daily commute, what new vehicle should I buy? - magicman534
I commute about that or a little further every day. Currently I have a used 2008 carolla that's been great. I put 80k miles on it in four years. That said, my buddy bought a fully loaded accord with a 4cylinder and I wish I would have got that. Think he only paid 26k for it. Much roomier without sac...

re: Trying my own European mount - Advice - magicman534
Just finished mine last weekend. First skin the whole head and de-meat as much as possible. Next cut the back of the skull/1st cervical vertebrae off where the spinal cord goes into the brain (this will give you access to remove the brain later.) then begin the boiling process. This should be hours ...
