re: Tinted windows question - magicman534
40% on front windows 25% on rear windows No limit on back window I personally get 20-25% all the way around and rip off the front every two years if the brake tag station busts my balls over it. I have a friend that tints and only charges me cost and some beers to redo them so that helps. ...

re: Honey Island Shooting Range CLOSED - magicman534

re: Delacroix tides/water visibility question - magicman534
Look at the bay gardere location on Louisiana sportsman tide guides. The west wind has really made the water crappy in Delacroix the past month or so. Most people have been doing better on the north side of terre aux boefs from lake robin east to lake machais. Hopefully soon the water will look ...

re: Anyone ever bought a boat out of state? - magicman534
Just bought a boat from Florida in May. its kind of an all day tour running around writing checks. Three pieces of advice: read the thread linked above, go to all the places (don't have to do dmv, can do title place and I was in and out of wlf in BR in 5 mins with boat #'s), and, if possible, get de...

re: What is the best seasickness medicine? - magicman534
Dramamine and a cold Sprite always seem to make my stomach feel better. I actually got more queasy on a slick calm day when the boat was subtly rocking more than when it was 5-7 foot seas. ...

re: What size/brand/type of fishfinder? - magicman534
Just bought a new boat that came with a 7 inch garmin. Had it changed and upgraded to a 9 inch lowrance hds 3 touch screen and couldn't be happier. I have a hds gen 2 5inch in my duck boat and am happy with that as well. I have a legend cartography geaux card in the gen 3 and the standard mapping ca...
