re: What trees to keep? - magicman534
I'd cut all three down and plant another type of oak. I have a water oak in my front yard and have been very close to cutting it down every winter bc of the amount of fricking leaves that thing sheds. Haven't though bc it is a nice shade tree. ...

re: Defeat the APRN Scope of Practice Expansion Attempt - Louisiana Senate Bill 187 - magicman534
This could go both ways. I had a friend have a child with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The pediatrician in the nursery missed it and the nicu nurse who was pulled to well baby nursery that nite caught it. And no, they didn't see it on the fetal Echo bc the the baby wasn't positioned properly. ...

I don't have short man syndrome at all. I actually enjoy working with anesthesiologists on very complex cases and appreciate their knowledge. It's a good team approach in my opinion. ...

re: Defeat the APRN Scope of Practice Expansion Attempt - Louisiana Senate Bill 187 - magicman534
I am a CRNA and also had to endure thousands of hours of training as well as thousands of hours of studying. I also have to pass a national certification exam to be eligible for licensure. One can't really compare CRNAs to other APRNs with respect to the level of training. Just my 2 cents though...

re: Food Plots with an ATV - magicman534
Done a few with my rubicon. But like nascar said, conditions have to be not too wet or too dry. Also, you need a big bike (500cc or better) preferably in 4wd in low gear. I have a disc but just ask a friend to disc my plots with his tractor bc it does a better job and a 1/8 of the time. ...

re: Buying boat out of state taxes/registration - magicman534
I'm buying a boat from a place in Pensacola and asked them to charge me taxes. They said they don't handle that for Louisiana residents and I would have to go to my state and parish offices and pay them myself. Wish I would have know that ahead of time. My fault though. However, one would think ...

re: High mileage commuters chime in please - magicman534
Bought a 2008 carolla in 2013 with only 45k miles. Put about 80k on it in 3 years. Avg over 30mpg. When you factor in how much cheaper it is to maintain it besides fuel for it, compared to my z71, it was a no brainer. ...

re: Nautic Star - 224 XTS vs 2200 Sport? - magicman534
I agree totally with grassy1. That being said, the price difference between the 224 xts and 24 xts was at least 15k not only bc of the hull but a bigger troll motor, more batteries, bigger motor all add up quick. One thing I considered which led me to the 224 was how many people will consistentl...

re: Nautic Star - 224 XTS vs 2200 Sport? - magicman534
I'm currently waiting for mine to be built. Ordered a 224 xts from a dealer in Pensacola. The xts has a little different hull and is a little longer. It has the "star" system so it get get in skinny water, is tournament ready (more rod holders and bigger release well), has a stepped chine for planin...
