Island buggies ( the all day one ) and the super snorkel were the best tours we did (saw dolphins and whales on the ride back). The buggies were awesome but if you can't drive a stick do joe knows and you will go to all the same places. Driving on the island was one of the biggest thrills of my life...

Yea my bad on that. I killed him in Rapides parish which did seem to be a little far for a wood duck to go from its home range, but then again I am far from an expert on the subject....

Went and checked out a few today and have pretty much decided on a Beretta px4 felt good in the hand and had one of the smoothest actions i've seen so far. Thanks for all the help guys :cheers:...

I've held the SR9C does seem to fit my hand nicely and is in the running but I don't care for the loaded safety feature. The thing that raises up when it's loaded... not sure how i feel about that yet. do you own a SR9C? how do you feel about that feature?...

Sounds like the Berettas are the forum favorite. I'll be going to a few local places to hold some tomorrow and see how they fit. Thanks for the help everybody. As far as the actual purchasing goes should i stay away from chain stores (Academy) and go local or does it matter? ...
