Just because you're an inconsistent shot doesn't mean you've defied the laws of physics.....

My guess is when they breathe out as they coil to take off at the release/launch noise, their lungs decrease a bit in size, like a semi-deflated balloon. Arrow gets there split second later as lung is refilling and the blades miss high on the top of the lung, but too low to cut any major veins or arteries running under the backbone. Thus a seemingly perfect lung hit leaves a non-mortal hit on a deer and a very confused bowhunter in it's wake.
The lungs are "stuck" to the inside of the pleural cavity. There really can't be a "void" where there is "nothing". Now possibly the effect of gravity on blood flow, and thereby size of pulmonary vasculature in the independent lung zones.......I could buy that.

This is horrible. I wouldn't carry this setup in the woods. I'd chunk rocks at em first. I would bury this rifle in the yard with every round I had for it and never tell anyone I owned it.

I usually giggle when folks tell me about the crazy stuff their bullets do...but it is never the gun, the shooter, or anything else. Got to be that ammo man.
Want to jack people up about the whole rise and fall with the bullets? Take one of these guys who is professing bullet rise and challenge them with the same gun sighted in at around 25 yards....same rounds....shoot 5 with scope sighted in dead on....shoot 5 after removing scope and zeroed in at 25 yards with the open sights (1 inch lower). Bet em on whether or not the bullets will miraculously have more drop at 100 yards on the open sights.

when scope is mounted correctly and rifle is sighted in bullets do not "rise". the trajectory from the bore (trajectory is an arc) crosses line of site you have through scope.

Cause I'm tired of words:
See, bullets DO rise; they just don't rise the way some of y'all think other people think they rise when they say, "Bullets rise".

For giggles I took a look at your posting history. You really are an insufferable narcissist with delusions of grandeur. Either that or your shtick here is to be an abrasive, omniscient, wealth bigoted, authority on all things outdoors. I bet you (your TD persona) is a real blast to hang out with.
My comment hit a nerve? lol
oh, and I AM a blast to hang out with...if you only knew how much...but you won't..lol

Mosins are sighted in at 300 meters from the factory. Your round didn't rise.
As for the accuracy issue, it's either the rifle or the user.

Every single person in this thread knows what you posted is true, they are only arguing over the definition of the word "rise". Taken literally, the bullet does "rise" relative to line of site, but it doesn't "rise" relative to a line drawn through the bore. That's this entire argument boiled down to once sentence and both camps are right depending on how you interpret one word. I have no idea why people get so worked up over the distinction.
