Another option as well, theres a lady in the BR area who does awesome fish prints, she may be able to do something unique and it would be cheaper than mounting all 5. I found her work about a year ago and talked to her at Festival International, she said a print usually runs around $130 for a trout. If/when I ever catch something memorable I'm going to have her print it, something different than a traditional mount.

print looks nice. I saw someone doing that on the docks in Venice one day. It seems possible to do that type of print yourself. Either way its a great option.

I believe it's $75 for a reproduction, but to actually print a fish you bring her cost a little more.

I thought the large speckled trout were loners and didn't school. I am surprised you caught that many large ones on one trip.

Pretty epic stringer ya got there!

I'm interested in getting a fish mounted myself, but have never done it so don't know where to start. Let us know who you decide to go with and pass the info along!

It happens; you just have to be where the big ones are. These dock shots get my blood pumping.

Those are some nice ones. Fished the East vs. West tourney a few years ago. We went to Lake Calcasieu first. Winning fish stringer was 35.7#

Lake P. was over 25# can't remember exactly.

I do know the Big Lake stringer was weighed in alive and all fish were released
