Took my son out in the Kraken for his first kayak trip. Went to a spot usually loaded with short specks and reds, but the dirty water made it tougher than expected. Managed to get my boy his first redfish, and first kayak fish. Made me happier than any fish I've caught in a long, long time.

The one and only time I took my boy out in the yak was the one and only time it's ever been flipped (combination of boat wake and him not knowing how to shift his weight and ride it out). Couldn't right the boat and hold him, the yeti and the paddle at the same time so I just had to kick swim us back to the dock while holding onto everything and him sitting on my chest.
