So you carry a Glock?

I grab first gun usually I see. Mostly Ruger LC9 or LCP depending on clothing. Glocks a lot also depending on clothing but i dont have good CC holsters for any glocks atm

Depending on a number of factors (i.e. clothing, where I'm going, etc.) one of the following:
1911 Commander, 45 ACP
1911 Officer, 45 ACP
Kahr CW45, 45 ACP
Kel-Tec PF9, 9mm (mostly during spring/summer)
Kel-Tec P3-AT (only when can't carry a bigger gun/caliber)
Extra magazine for the gun being carried
Small flashlight (after dark)

I think most of us are. The important thing is having something you are comfortable with and simply having it period...

You can never have too many 1911 blows to the head.

Maybe it was just the one I shot but the last time I shot one, every few shots my thumb would hit the safety. Can't carry like that worrying I will engage the safety.

This possible lapse in judgment is the reason I don't carry one. Well, that and the fact that it's heavy as frick. Then again, my Ruger SR9c has a safety but I never use it. I carry condition 0.

I love me a 1911 and it is the best target gun out there. But for carry, I like being a pussy and going for the lighter gun.

I agree on the weight issue. Size is also an issue for most clothes in Louisiana. If somebody enters the house though they will be seeing the end of mine.
